Taiyo (太陽) is a plum variety discovered in Yamanashi prefecture about 40 years ago. The oval fruit characterized by the deep purple color of the pericarp, which makes it look black, and the size is as large as 100-150g per fruit, giving the impression of a small peach rather than a plum.
With little acidity, the sweetness of Taiyo can be tasted and the flesh is full of juices. It is recommended to peel off the skin before eating which may be sour in taste.

“恵白” is a new variety among the many Okayama brand white peaches which was created after repeated crossbreeding between “Chikuma Hakuho” and “Kawanakajima White Peach” and is pronounced “Megumihaku” rather than “Keihaku”. It is cultivated in peach-producing areas of the prefecture, mainly in the Tamashima area of Kurashiki City. In Okayama, the skin color is milky white because it is usually bagged until harvest.
As expected from a high-quality white peach, Megumihaku has a fair skin that is pleasing to the eye. The large, voluminous peach is packed with plenty of firm flesh and elegant aroma that eludes when open up. Its sweetness is among the best of all the Okayama white peaches and does not contain any sourness around the seed core. They are only produced in small quantities, thus making it a rare and mythical high-class white peach.

Ruby Roman is a new “grape” that the Ishikawa Prefectural Agricultural Research Center’s Sand Dune Agricultural Experiment Station spent 14 years spent developing. It is exactly “dream grape” such as taste, color of the grain which is about twice as great as the gigantic peak, and vivid red color. It is the most expensive grapes in the whole world and only can be found and bred in Japan. Its highest auction record is up to 1.1 mil yen (S$13,250).
Each grape is the size of a ping-pong ball and gives off an alluring wine fragrance with intense sweetness. This makes it one of the most precious and coveted fruits due to its unique characteristic and limited supply. Shu [秀] is given to grapes with at least 20g in weight (per grape) and G class is given to grapes with at least 30g in weight (per grape).
