あんみつ姫 (Anmitsuhime) , as sweet as Anmitsu , is a brand of mikan born in Saga Prefecture. After being harvested in December, it is stored and aged for about 2 to 3 months to enhance its sweetness and umami before being shipped. 

To prevent the mandarin oranges from becoming watery, the soil is covered with mulch sheets to control rainwater. In addition, organic fertilizers are used to cultivate mandarin oranges with a higher sugar content and managed 24 hours a day.
