Fukuoka Prefecture is the number one producer of sweet persimmons in Japan, and is famous for sweet persimmons such as Taishu persimmon and Fuyu persimmon. Aikou aka King of Autumn, is a hybrid of Fuyu persimmon and Taishu persimmon, and after 10 years of research, it was finally registered in 2012. 

It is a new huge variety which is completely seedless, and perfect crunchiness with sugar content of at least 17 brix degree! It is extremely rare to come by and only 1-2 boxes is available per shipment during its short season from end October to November.
