In Saga Prefecture, the cultivation of house mandarin oranges began in Karatsu City around 1973, and now it is the largest house mandarin orange production site in Japan, which ships 5,000 tons per year.
Karatsu’s House Mandarins are in season from June to July. The outer skin and the inner thin skin are thin and soft, and the content is full of pulpy flesh, juicy fruit juice that spreads in your mouth, rich sweetness (high as 13 brix), and the scent of mandarin orange will delight your taste buds.

Gamagori Mikan is a national brand with the highest quality mandarin orange “Miyakawa Hayao” that is blessed with a warm climate and good quality soil and carefully cultivated in the greenhouse. It has a high sugar content and moderate acidity, with a rich taste and soft melty texture.
The appearance is called “silk-skin orange” with deep red and fine texture. Gamagori Mikan is scheduled to be shipped from mid-April to late September.
