$12.00–$168.00
[Winter Special]
Aurora is a Western pear variety introduced to Japan in the 1980s, created from Marguerite Marillat × Bartlett. Grown mainly in Yamagata Prefecture, it is highly prized for its short seasonal window—typically only around two weeks—making it one of the most exclusive pears of autumn.
Similar in taste and texture to the renowned La France pear, Aurora offers the same luxuriously soft, melting flesh and a refined sweetness balanced with gentle acidity. What sets Aurora apart is its earlier harvest season, allowing pear lovers to enjoy the La France–like experience a little sooner. Its fine-grained, juicy flesh almost dissolves on the tongue, while its golden skin and intoxicating aroma signal perfect ripeness.
Elegant, fragrant, and fleeting—Aurora is often described as the prelude to La France, giving you a taste of autumn’s luxury before the main season arrives.
