Commonly referred to as “long neck avocado” , Russell Avocadoes are large, elongated fruits, growing up to thirty-three centimeters in length. These gourd-shaped avocados have a glossy exterior with a bright green hue. When ripe, they have a smooth, semi-buttery consistency with a savory, salty-sweet flavor. One of these Russell avocados can produce 5 slices of avocado toast. Despite their unusual shape, this variety is entirely natural and not genetically modified.
