Red Angel pears have a distinct white flesh with a deep red coloured skin which goes from dark to bright red when fully ripe. These pretty pears are named after the German word for trout, because they have colorful skin covered with little red speckles. It has a very sweet aromatic flavour and a creamy texture which makes it ideal for fresh eating.
