Hirosaki Fuji is a fast-growing variety of Fuji discovered in 1984 (Showa 59) from “Fuji” in the garden of Mr. Katsushiro Owani in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. The taste is similar to Fuji, but the flesh is slightly softer, with richer juicy content.　

“Yume Hikari” is the brand name of JA Tsugaru Hirosaki, which is given to Hirosaki Fuji with a sugar content of 13 degrees or more, with each piece carefully individually wrapped for extra protection.
