“Wink” is created by crossing Rubel Muscat and Kaiji variety, and has a dark purple to black skin color and a very large grain size. It inherited a firm body and non-slip skin from its parent Kaiji which closely resembles to European varieties. One special characteristics it has, is strong sweetness and skin which is thinner than kyoho/pione varieties which makes it easy to eat with.
