Japanese Uribo Watermelon
Uribo is a small watermelon shaped like a rugby ball, with a thin skin. They are grown in large greenhouses in the Shimabara region of Nagasaki Prefecture, therefore are less susceptible to the effects of rain, and by adjusting the moisture content before shipping, high sugar content watermelons are produced. It has the crisp texture of a large watermelon, and is juicy with lots of water!
