Japanese Nagano Sun Golden Peach (Jumbo)

“Golden peach” is available in season in the latter half of August. The parent of golden peaches happened to be Kawanakajima white peaches, which are synonymous with sweet peach varieties. The golden flesh that shines golden even when peeled, have a strong sweetness and a tint of mango scent. As the peaches are exposed to more sunlight, its golden skin turns into a redder blush, enhancing its sweetness and flavor.

To enjoy to its fullest, allow it to ripen at room temperature for 2-3 days for smooth and soft flesh that melts in one’s mouth, with increased water content (juice) and sweetness level. Strongly recommended!
