Introducing the finest quality strawberry from Kikuchi City, which is the heart of agriculture in Kumamoto, Hinoshizuku is recognised by its pretty red appearance, firmness and hard texture with good sweetness and fragrance. They are also not cultivated outside of Kumamoto hence they are not widely available in general supermarkets nationwide in Japan.
It also has a sheer size and are excellent in shelf life and transportability, and each strawberry is carefully wrapped in protective layering to prevent damage. It is hence one of the most popular items for gifts during the season.
