Amaka is hybrid variety between Sweet “Shiro Biwa” and Large sized “Mizuho”, resulting in its large fruit size with high sweetness level. It can grow to a size twice as much as a normal biwa. It is cultivated carefully while protecting every single one to prevent damages. In addition, it is a very rare premium variety due to the small number of trees that can be obtained from one tree and the time required for cultivation.

Loquat has a mixture of pear & peach sweet taste and juicy texture, while it does not have any distinct fragrance itself, which makes it favorable to be added to dishes or desserts.
