A medium-sized pear with an elongated bottle shape, the ‘Conference’ pear is similar in appearance to the ‘Bosc pear’. It has a tinge of dark brown colour from the bottom, with soft and fine texture and sweet flavor.  The fruit skin is thick greenish-brown, the flesh is white. Both will turn pale yellow when ripe.
