Australian Kaimana Lychee
A relatively new variety that is in limited supply, ‘Kaimana’ was named in 1982 to commemorate the 75th (“diamond”) anniversary of the establishment of the Hawaii Agricultural Experiment Station. ‘Kaimana’ means “diamond” in the Hawaiian language.
It features a pretty red skin tone and is sheer in size. It also has a crunchier texture whilst not losing its juicy content and rich sweetness.
