一宮水密 (Ichinomiya Suimitsu) is a premium quality peach brand from Ichinomiya Town, a well-known peach producing area that boasts an overwhelming brand power in the Kansai region of Yamanashi Prefecture. The prefecture is surrounded by mountains, with fresh air, clean water quality, fertile land, and low sunlight, making these rich natural resources useful for the growth period. The peaches in the mountains constitute an ideal planting environment, and Yamanashi Prefecture has the highest yields, hence it is called the “Hometown of Peach”.

一宮水密  was discovered by Mr. Furuya, a producer in Ichinomiya Town, as a sport of Asama Hakuto, and was registered as a variety in 1990. It is a delicious peach that inherits the mellow aroma of Asama white peach, larger in size than normal Hakuhou varieties, juicy and dense flesh, full of aroma and high sugar content of at least 13 degrees.
