Kouhi Red Kiwi (紅妃キウイ) is a rare Japanese red-fleshed kiwi variety cultivated in Saga Prefecture, Japan, prized for its exceptional sweetness and distinctive ruby-red centre surrounded by golden-yellow flesh.

Smaller than conventional green kiwis, this specialty variety boasts an impressive sweetness of up to 20° Brix, compared to the average 13–15° Brix of regular green kiwis (Hayward variety).

Storage Tip: Allow firm kiwis to ripen at room temperature, then refrigerate once ripe and enjoy promptly, as Kouhi Red Kiwi has a shorter shelf life than conventional green kiwis.
