Japanese Kiou Apple (Medium)
Kiou (“黄王”) is an hybrid between the crisp textured Orin(“王林”) and Hatsuaki (“千秋”), giving birth to a bright yellow exterior with hard crisp texture and good fragrance.
It is well-known for its good balance between sweetness and sourness, and it is very popular because it has a lot of juice and excellent in taste.
Its season is very short, only available during September to October period.
