Japanese Yotsuboshi Strawberry (Strawberry)
$26.00–$50.00
Registered in 2017, Yotsuboshi Strawberry is a premium Japanese variety jointly developed by Mie Prefecture, Kagawa Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, and the Kyushu Okinawa Agricultural Research Center. A rare seed-propagated cultivar bred from the lineage of renowned strawberries such as Kaorino, Sachinoka, and Tochiotome, it represents a new generation of carefully cultivated Japanese strawberries known for consistency and exceptional quality.
Each berry is beautifully cone-shaped with a glossy vibrant red appearance and medium-firm, juicy flesh. Celebrated for its outstanding balance of rich sweetness and refreshing acidity, Yotsuboshi delivers a deep, well-rounded flavour that lingers pleasantly. Its name, meaning “Four Stars,” reflects both its four-star excellence in sweetness, acidity, aroma, and flavour, as well as the four organisations behind its development, making it an elegant choice for gifting or indulgence.
