Japanese Sado Le Lectier Pear Gift Box (2kg)
$108.00
[Winter Special] Local farmers brought the first Le Lectier trees over from France in 1903. Sado Island, part of Niigata Prefecture, is particularly known for producing high-quality Le Lectier pears, contributing significantly to the region’s reputation for this fruit. Le Lectiers are considered a delicacy, as they are more difficult to cultivate than other western varieties and small quantity yields.
These pears are known for their superior fragrance with hint of banana and smooth texture, with a high level of sweetness. They are picked in late October and are ready to eat by December after they soften and turn yellow.
*Le Lectier pear comes in 5-6pcs, depending on sizes.
