Founded in 1985 in Togichi prefecture, Nyoho Ichigo was one of the sought varieties for its mesmerizing appearance and sweet fragrance before Tochiotome variety was discovered. Since then, the production level for Nyoho Ichigo has fallen to as low as 1% of Togichi’s overall strawberry production.
However on Shodoshima Island, Nyoho were still bred and nurtured with the best condition and ample sunshine, with each fruit being specially treated with care for the best quality. Tasting Nyoho would describe as JUICY, SWEET, Good Balance of Acidity & Fragrance.
