They are grown using “multi-sheet cultivation”, which involves covering the ground with a white “mulch sheet” to block rain and hold down water to the bare minimum, resulting in a high sugar content and richer flavor.

Momoriko is a rare tomato that can only be grown at Kashiyama Farm in Komatsushima, Tokushima Prefecture. and is currently attracting attention. The medium is used to produce minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium that plants need.

Since it has a sweet peach-like scent, it is named “Peach Pine”, but it is also known as “Milk Pine” due to its white flesh and rich creamy-like texture.
